UNITED NATIONS PEACE DAY.

Sunday 21st September was the United Nations Day of Peace. To mark the day NLASF.org joined with other campaign and community groups in Norwich city centre. There was music and entertainment, followed by a march for peace through Norwich city centre to the Friends Meeting House. NLASF.org gave out information about the human rights situation for Coca-Cola employees in Colombia and discussed recent events in Latin America with the public.Many passers by were surprised by the situation in Colombia for Coca-Cola's employees and agreed to stop buying Coca-Cola products untill Coca-Cola take action. U.S. EMBASSY PICKET, LONDON.

On the 17th September Colombia Solidarity, Bolivia Solidarity and Hands Off Venezuela organised a picket of the United States Embassy, in response to the recent destabilization and coup plotting in Bolivia and Venezuela.  A representative from NLASF.org was able to make it to London for the picket, to show that solidarity with the people of Latin America is on the rise outside of the capital.
