NLASF.org organizes educational global awareness workshops and presentations with youth and community groups, schools and universities in Norfolk, providing communities and young people with the opportunity to learn about Latin America and the issues that affect them. NLASF.org workshops  aim to empower young people and communities by encouraging them to consider how their attitudes and actions may impact on the wider global community and affect how they are perceived and treated by others.

A Salad, A Steak and a Can of Cola. The Hidden Cost of Water.

Many people know that the earth is mainly covered by water, but they may not realise that only a small amount is available for human consumption. Water often fails to reach the people that need it the most, such as in many parts of Latin America. By learning that water is a limited resource, this workshop  helps participants appreciate the necessity to use water resources wisely. This workshop takes participants on a journey to Latin America, exploring the challenges faced by people that lack access to clean water, before arriving back in Britain to learn about our role in helping others who don't have access to safe drinking water.

Workshop Facilitators: Tom 'Pablo' Dalby and Emil Dauncey.
